Poetry Multilingual Festival of the Americas

The multilingual festival organized by writers Carlos Aguasaco and Irene Santos will host this year as special guest writer, Jose Maria Alvarez. He has dedicated himself obsessively to literature and travel throughout his life. He formed part of the group Nueve novismos, characterized by an absolute formal freedom, automatic writing, elliptical techniques of syncopation and collage, the use of exotic elements and artificialness, the influence of mediums of communication, film and a the influx of a camp aesthetic.
